The vast number of beautiful beaches, bars and restaurants, make Budva a very popular holiday destination.

It is the most hectic tourist resort on the coast of Montenegro and is saturated with tourists during the peak season (both domestic and foreign tourists).   The newer part of Budva, has wide boulevards, cheerful flower beds and open views, and a long beach stretched in front.

Apart from its natural beauty, such as its bay islands and beaches, Budva is rich in historic monuments. The old town lies on a small peninsula and represents a treasure chest of culture heritage.   It consists of narrow streets and alleys and small squares with precious monuments of different Mediterranean cultures that have marked the development of this town.  There are shops, cafés, restaurants and galleries on every corner, and you will surely fill a day leisurely wandering around.  The ambience itself is beautiful, with the picturesque old houses and squares with palm trees and flowers.

One of the most beautiful parts of Budva is citedela, the fortification of the old castle. Inside there is a museum and a big terrace with great view n entire city and Hawaii island, which hosts plays and performances.  There are carnivals in spring, theatres in summer, as well as the water activities you would expect to find in any tourist resort.  It's a very popular destination for beach events, boat trips and excursions, and it is definitely worth a day trip at least.  Budva is definitely the late night spot of the coastal towns, with many thriving clubs and bars.
